History of Stanley Market

Stanley has been a fishing village since before the British came to Hong Kong.  In fact, it was the last stand for the Bristish troops before surrending to the Jananese during the war in 1941.

The busy market has always attracted people but now you don't go there to buy fish, but to get t-shirts and other tourist things.
