Here we are back at the
entrance of the Stanley Market with a closer view of that big
red dragon. It is out there to attract people into the
shop of course which sells all the standard tourist Chinese
things like chops and calligraphy.
I'm not saying anything bad
about the shop but I do suggest you walk through the market
before buying too much. Probably the best idea is to walk
quickly to the end and then walk slowly back, because now you
will know what sort of things are available. In the end
almost everybody will walk back as it isn't convenient to leave
Stanley from the other side. If you have to do a one way
trip the walk through the market, see Murray building, then go
up to the top of the plaza where it connects to the road higher
up the hill.
You can get a minibus or a taxi from there
back into town.
