Ink Name Stamps "Chops"

Known as Chops these small carved stamps are used to impress a Chinese name onto paper, until recently many older people in Hong Kong used this as a proof of identity instead of a signature. Even bank accounts accepted.  Today you can get one made for yourself using a Chinese version of your name. The small stone blocks have a carved decoration at one end and a blank face at the other where the artisan in the shop will carve your name.
